Medicine Bags, "Four Directions" - Set of 4 Small Bags or Individual Color Bags, Smudge Bags

The Four Directions are a set of four colors that symbolize the full circle of the world in Native mythology. The four colors stand for many things depending on the tribe's beliefs, but in Lakota beliefs the four colors stand as follows:
White - north, bear spirit (among others), cedar, winter, wind.
Black - south, thunder spirit and wolf, sweet grass, summer, earth.
Yellow - east, spotted eagle, tobacco, spring, fire.
Red - west, buffalo nation, sage, fall, water.

These bags are smaller than others, but make great storage bags for important ceremonial and altar items like smudge, a small amount of tobacco to gift, medicine objects, healing crystals, beads and gemstones - the possibilities are endless, so long as it fits! (The sage, crystals and beads shown in the photo are not included, just examples.)
The bags are 3.25" (8.2cm) long and 2" (5.1cm) wide, with 1.25" (3.3cm) long leather fringe across the bottom. They have not yet been blessed for use, but have been made respectfully and with great care for sacred use.
